Last night I was invited along to Harvey Nichols for the UK launch of skincare brand Previse DermApothecary, which Harvey Nichols will be stocking EXCLUSIVELY in the UK and you can shop Instore or Online (links below)
The launch was hosted in the swanky Style Conciegere at HN and myself and the other guests were lucky enough to meet the founder, Sean Patrick Harrington as well and his lovely team to personally talk to us about the range, the inspiration and future product launches. After a champagne reception and talk by our host, we got to try the range out, which currently has 6 products, which include a cleaner, moisturiser, body oil, scrub, healing Salve and Stretchnark Cream with a further product launch due for January, the Ozone Defense Serum.
Previse is a vegan brand and is fragrance free. This is because, by being fragrance free the brand have been able to remove most of the nasties that can irate sensitive skin types, something founder Sean felt was important as the range was born from his own skin issues which left emotional trauma from a young age. Their slogan ‘Powered by Nature not Chemicals’ means that their products only contain minimal preservative and are cleverly packaged in air tight containers to prolong effects of the essential ingredients.
The range is also packaged and branded in a way that it is gender neutral which I am always a fan of. In addition is really reasonably priced, with prices starting at £21 and the most expensive priced at £71, again something that was important from the start as he wanted to democratise good quality skincare for those who need it most. However, they haven’t comprised on quality and the range is not only luxurious but amazingly innovative too. Products such as their foaming moisturiser (yes I said foaming!) is just spellbinding to watch and feels immensely hydrating and I can’t wait to give it a go at home.
Of course there were some delicious vegan canapés to nibble on also which were yummy and Instagram friendly too!
I’m looking forward to trying these and really love the fact they are vegan friendly, following my #worldveganmonthchallenge it’s becoming even more important to me.
Review to follow but in the meantime you can Shop the range here.
This is NOT a sponsored post. Kind thanks to our hosts for inviting me to join you.
