Ahhh, the mother of all my Christmas gift guides! The beauty one! I always love to recieve special beauty treats for Christmas and I know my loved ones do too. Those, ever so slightly expensive, wouldn’t normally treat myself to luxuries. Of course this list contains some of my most recent discoveries as well as some products and brands I’ve fallen in love with since I started this blog back in March this year.
Beauty, or should I say beauty products play a massive part in my life, I write about them for a living, I use them and I love it when new products launch, each with their exciting new innovations. Now I’m 35 they are even more important to me, but I’m concentrating more on skincare instead of make up to ensure I age as best as I can.
As a sufferer of daily neck and back pain I’ve also included the latest natural alternative to dealing with this in order to avoid restless nights which leave me exhausted, in turn resulting in me not looking my best, dark eyes, dull skin and so on. Prevention is better then cure as they say. If like me you don’t want to take medication and are looking for alternatives then look no further.
For the ultimate in luxury beauty a day at the Spa would be top of my list. Buyagift.com have a wonderful selection of experiences you can treat someone to, and as it’s the season of giving, why not take yourself off too? In the words of a famous beauty brand, You’re worth it!

Cult beauty products
Votary Neroli & Myrrh Facial Oil £65 Space NK
This is a absolute favourite of mine and I use it anytime I want to give my skin a deep and intensive rehydration. A little goes a very long way as it’s highly concentrated and I use this once or twice a week, 4-5drops is plenty so this bottle will be with me for some time. It never gives me break outs and instead I wake feeling and looking plumper and fresher. It is pure luxury in a bottle!

Eye cream is something new to me. I’m lucky that I’ve made it to 35 without any real wrinkles and as such I’ve not really dipped my toes much into eye products. However nothing lasts forever, especially youth and I’m starting to notice those tell tale signs appearing. This rich and creamy eye cream has been a God send and I genuinely feel I have stopped this process in its steps over the past few months by using it morning and night. It’s got my vote!

I’ll be honest, I’m not really a lipgloss girl, let alone a sparkly lipgloss but this I love, looks fab worn alone or slicked over deeper shades.

Both the Lipstick & Blush work by morphing once applied to skin into a natural berry shade aligning to the individuals Ph balance. I’ve found the Lipstick is great for layering over over shades too, such as red and pinks as it deepens to create unique colours.

StylePro MakeUp brush cleaner & Dryer £49.99
This has revolutionised my life! OK it’s a bit of an overstatement but I am a right lazy cow when it comes to cleaning my brushes and so if you are like me and take absolutely no pleasure from it then try this and you’ll be hooked! It’s so simply to use even my kids could do it but so satisfying I’m not giving them the pleasure. You basically pop in the cleaning solution, attach your brush to the hand device, dip in and out for 10 seconds and remove your clean brush which is dry and ready to use.
