Wow! What a couple of weeks it’s been, my feet haven’t touched the ground. But it’s always like that in the lead up to London Fashion Week. As such I’m combining two weeks in one (as I missed last weeks) Don’t forget you can always keep up to date with my Instastories, so make sure you are following me on Instagram.
In the lead up to LFW I was a very lucky lady and got to have not one, but two facials consecutively. The first was a part of the new Superfood collection from Elemis, where they were hosting a one day pop up in London to the public (you can find my coverage of it here) the collection is packed full of all those goodies we should also be eating in our diet and I’ve since been trying the products at home and so far so good! I’ll have a full review soon.
Next up was a wonderful experience with celebrity facialist Sarah Cordier, courtesy of the wonderful peeps at Previse who were also hosting a two day facial pop up at Harvey Nichols, who have the range exclusively on the UK! The 45 min treatment was one of the most intense and enjoyable I’ve ever experienced and deserves its own post so stay tuned for that next week…..
L’Occitane also revealed their brand new Flagship store to the press with a luxurious bash that saw us recieve hand massages and macaroons, a perfect combination. The store is so incredibly beautiful and I’ll be giving you a tour next week on the blog so stay tuned.
I also popped back to Brighton for a pals birthday and had such a wonderful time being a tourist in my own city (I moved back to London 6 months ago after living in Brighton for 12 years!) which has made me think I’ll pop a city guide together very soon with all my favourite hidden gems, with spring on its way its such a great place to escape to and deserves far more praise then it’s ‘hen do and kiss me quick hat’ reputation.
Of course Valentines or Galentines depending on your relationship status was big news too and the beauty team at Debenhams had kindly invited me for an afternoon of pampering where I had my hair and nails done with Blow LTD, which is a service you can book to come to your home for all your beauty neeeds or else visit selected Debenhams stores where they are ready to get you looking and feeling glam! I also picked up a rather fab lippy from Kat Von D’s new range which is all vegan and has a ton of colours to choose from!
And then. It was all thoughts to London fashion week, which was as always a total blast! I’ve shared my 7 favourite things about it which you can view here and I’ll have more dedicated coverage next week as well as the all important what I wore. Amid the madness I also managed to squeeze in a tour of London in a vintage Routemaster Bus complete with tea and cakes by special invite from The Original Muck Boot Company to launch their latest collaboration with Interior designer Emily Bond. It was such a wonderful way to relax and take stock and I met some really lovely bloggers and other press members which I can’t wait to catch up with again soon! I’ll be sharing more details about the collab soon….
Hope you’ve had a couple of great weeks?
