Now in its 27th year, Graduate Fashion Week returns to The Truman Brewery this weekend. (3-6th June 2018)
The 4 day showcase is the largest of its kind worldwide, offering a platform for BA Fashion & textile graduates to present their work and network with industry leaders and insiders. Many will go on to MA courses while others will find opportunities to join the leading design houses and high street fashion design teams.
The event will see 25 catwalk shows take place as well as showrooms displaying the talented designers work. In addition the event hosts various talks and seminars offering invaluable advice to future fashion stars.
Even more exciting, this year Diane Von Furstenburg and Nadja Swarovski will join as lifelong patrons, a body of patrons which already includes Christopher Bailey, Victoria Beckham OBE, Nick Knight OBE and Vivienne Westwood DBE RBI. Sponsors of the event also include Levi’s, Superdry and Ralph Lauren to name just a few.
This year’s campaign was shot by photographer Damian Foxe and features Austrian actor Coco König who looks stunning in the designs selected by Foxe, who chose to shoot the campaign us by the power of natural light. The results are simply stunning and are making me feel very excited to see more!
Graduate fashion week is open to anyone with an interest on fashion, tickets can be purchased here
