Duck & Dry: The London insiders worst kept secret

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford street, yet just a stones throw away is Duck & Dry Mayfair, the blow dry bar that is quickly becoming an insiders worst kept secret and an instagrammer’s dream come true thanks to their unique egg shaped vanity desks and quirky and luxe interior design details.

Specialising in blow drys and up dos the concept behind the brand is that you can be in and out in a flash, although I can guarantee you’ll want to savour every minute as the interior is just gorgeous and the bar makes it very easy to never want to leave! Add to that the fact they have regular pop up events, such as their recent celebrations for Eid Maburak and World Gin day, for which They collaborated with Martin Miller Gin.

Before my blow dry and happy to have a Gin in hand!

I popped along to experience the service myself (who am I kidding, they had me at Gin!) and it was such a fabulous start to my weekend and my blow dry lasted well into the next day making my weekend a breeze!

Feeling waaay more glam thanks to the team!

Duck and Dry also have another salon at the other end of Oxford street, near Topshop which also boasts a nail bar as well as on the King’s Road, Soho (Carnaby street) and Spitalfields and are expanding even further with salons in flagship Primark stores (Oxford Street East and Birmingham Bullring currently)

Duck & Dry is an Instagram dream! Just look at that birdcage!

Blow dries start at £30 for a dry hair updo and £45 for a wash, blow dry and style which you can book here.

Thank you to Duck & Dry for inviting me as their first to experience the salon and review.
